Richard Outram, CEO of Financial Acumen Inc., has 35+ years of executive financial management and international business leadership within the private equity, home services, IT staffing, business process outsourcing, management consulting, specialty retail, and “Big 4” public accounting industries.

Richard’s significant career accomplishments have been in successfully leading enterprises through strategic phases of profitable growth, capital sourcing, and closing buy and sell side M&A transactions.

Richard's proven track record and expertise in optimizing financial performance and leadership development have made him a sought after business partner and executive coach.  His strong coaching skills and motivational style have been key success factors in building high performing teams and transforming organizations. 

Richard serves on several boards within public, private, and non-profit organizations, as well as an advisor for several technology growth companies. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant in the U.K and U.S, Richard is also a Certified Fraud Examiner, and a Certified Executive Coach.

Richard founded Prepare4Growth, an innovative coaching framework to proactively help executives and organizations through personal and business transformations. His mission is "To help executives achieve their highest potential in business and life, so that together we can elevate humanity."

To support his mission, Richard hosts a related podcast series, “Prepare4Growth,” where he shares wisdom bytes to elevate and prioritize conscious leadership, humanity, learning and purpose. He also hosts the Financial Acumen podcast series which empowers businesses to grow profitably, while maximizing value for a greater good.

Richard is also passionate about improving personal and business financial literacy for all generations and is the author of a children’s financial literacy book series, "The Adventures of ExoKid" as well as an ebook, "Cracking the CFO Code-Relationship Selling to Finance Executives."
